THEATRE SCHOOL
We offer mini dance classes for children aged 4-6yrs and dancing, singing and acting classes for those aged 6+.
DANCE CLASSES
We cover a wide range of dance styles from different eras and musical genres, placing our focus on current trends. We also encourage our students to experience choreographing.
As a registered member of the National Association of Teachers of Dance (NATD), we offer specialist training in street dance with students having the opportunity to take their examinations in the autumn term.
We have consistently achieved a 100% pass rate in all examinations over the past 5 years, with 98% of pupils receiving Highly Commended.
DRAMA CLASSES
With the focus on expression, imagination, television and theatre, we give our students a thorough and enjoyable grounding in the all aspects of the art.
We are a registered Centre with Arts Award and Trinity College, and enable our students the chance to take their awards at 5 levels.
SINGING CLASSES
We provide a range of singing activities to enable students to improve their vocal technique, in a variety of styles from pop to musical theatre. They work in group singing classes but are also encouraged to sing solo, and become confident in performing alone in front of their group.
Our trips to the local multi-purpose recording studio – Untapped Talent – is a real treat for our students, enabling them to see and experience the recording process close up.
PERFORMANCES
Our big production performances are greatly anticipated and enjoyed by us all. They are a wonderful stage school experience for our pupils, families and our professional team. They’re held every two years in a local theatre and are a must-see event.
